When I downloaded it, I was given the options of opening it with Swordsearcher, or saving it to disk.

I have tried both, but in both cases I couldn't get the module to appear in Swordsearcher.

As already mentioned, I am using version 5.5.

Don't try the "open" option. You need to save it to a specific location.

Under your Documents folder there is a folder called "SwordSearcher User Modules." Save it in there and re-start SwordSearcher.
