I'm currently putting this work into SwordSearcher. Here is what I see on an entry for 1555A.D.:

1555 JOHN KNOX returned to Scotland. NICHOLAS RIDLEY, THOMAS CRANMER and 300 others were martyred. JOHN ROGERS (THOMAS MATTHEW) was burned by Queen MARY. HUGH LATIMER was burned at Oxford on October 16th. MARCELLUS II became pope. GIOVANNI PIETRO CARAFFA became Pope PAUL IV. The Peace of Augsburg ended the fighting between the Catholics and the Lutherans. KARL V abdicated and FERDINAND I ruled the Holy Roman Empire.
When I format it my way, this is what I get when I separate the events:

NICHOLAS RIDLEY, THOMAS CRANMER and 300 others were martyred.
JOHN ROGERS (THOMAS MATTHEW) was burned by Queen MARY.
HUGH LATIMER was burned at Oxford on October 16th.
MARCELLUS II became pope.
GIOVANNI PIETRO CARAFFA became Pope PAUL IV.
The Peace of Augsburg ended the fighting between the Catholics and the Lutherans.
KARL V abdicated and FERDINAND I ruled the Holy Roman Empire.

I have the remainder of A.D. years to do and all of the B.C. years to format. I plan to put all the years in red and put that year on a separate line. I would rather (I think) put it all in a table but that takes a lot more work and it is a pretty big project as it is.

If anyone here wants this work as is or wants to take it as is and work on it, I will be glad to send it to you and you can doctor it up any way you want. If interested, please let me know at rhodesscholar39@gmail.com

Somehow or other I landed on the B.C. part and have it almost done and now I plan to hop back onto the A.D. part and finish it asap. Maybe now if you all will give me another day, perhaps I will finish the whole thing and add the module here in this group. Please give me one more day to see what I can finish and an put the whole work here.

Well, I did not get it all finished. I have sent what I have to Pastor Langley. Maybe I can finish it all tomorrow sometime.

Up late, but I finished it. I just want to do more formatting on it before I send it again. OK?
 
It may take 8 more cups of coffee than that. :)

It's taking me longer than I thought it would. I got older which has not helped - will be 87 in December this year. duh!

Well, it was a job trying to figure out how to format it but I finally settled on something and have finished about half of what I have remaining. Do you mind waiting until I finish it before I send it to you. Remember, you can take it and overhaul it the way you would rather have it. I could care but very little about any kind of credit for the work. Sound ok to you? MGB.
 
If you wanted it and cannot get it now that I have finished it, please let me know and I will send it to you.

There is a free program called TeamViewer at https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/solutions/roles/personal-use/ which we can use to see the computer of each other. Would you give a try at downloading that and maybe I can help you with some of what you asked me about? If I cannot answer you on something, maybe another friend can do so but I will be glad to give it a try.
