Why does this happen?

@Brandon Staggs, as you can see in the first picture, the Barnes commentary indicates it has something for Mark 15:15. But when you go to the commentary in the second picture, "No notes from Barnes on this verse." - I come across this often, can you explain why this is? Is it an issue or something else? Thanks.

Because the Barnes commentary is very old and actually has text on that verse that says Barnes didn't have any commentary on that verse. It is technically content, so, the tab highlights.

I don't think so, if it were wouldn't all commentary tabs be highlighted for every verse of the bible

No, this is unique. As you can see if you create a commentary, empty verses have literally no content. Barnes is a bit "off" because the relatively few verses that are empty have a note stating that there is no content in the original work.

I believe I have seen this in other commentaries. I will have to try to more close attention. Thanks!

How do I get the Alford Commentary? Is that part of SwordSearcher or add on module? Searched Forum, not found? What is the cost? Or did you use es2f from e-Sword to convert?
