Hi Brandon, been meaning to post for a while now that the christianaudio.com website is no longer available. I was recently looking for an audio Bible version that reads the superscript of the Psalms and wanted to check out your options and you had the site listed with some audio Bibles available but they have closed up shop. Do you know if those from that site are available elsewhere?

I use Scourby. The fact it "reads superscript of the Psalms" is something I have to check into. The added "Text-to-Speech" update inside SwordfSearcher 10 does in fact do this. But after checking Scourby does not. ( Hits and misses on some of the Psalms, (only checked around 10 chapters)
 
Yes, Scourby is my reader of choice but he doesn't read the superscript of the Psalms. Did anyone try any of those other readers suggested by Brandon? If so, do they read the superscript of the Psalms?

You can download an audio KJV for free here: https://server.firefighters.org/kjv.asp

It will take a little effort, but you can also d/l the Scourby version here: https://www.divinerevelations.info/bible/kjv.htm

No... I already have Scourby and it's synced in SS... so I'll add this one from firefighters.org and sync it in SS as Brandon supports it. You can have more that one audio Bible linked in SS and just switch between them.

I downloaded the free Scourby from the Firefighters a long time ago, but I felt that he read the verses too fast, so I purchased a CD of his reading, I don't remember where from, but it was better. I just tried all three of the audio Bibles that I have (Scourby, David Cochran Heath, and Faith Comes by Hearing) and none of them read the superscript. The text to audio did, though.

Yeah, I have a purchased version of Scourby and he is without doubt the best reader of the Bible 🥰 . The one Rev. posted does read the superscript of the Psalms... however, I prefer to listen without any distractions like music, but I'll keep this for now but also will keep looking.

Side note: I am going to test this, you might be able to "ONLY" add the Psalms for the resding of the "superscript" all by itself. Yep, not a fan of music and background audio when Scourby is speaking. This generation is different. Will let you know.

BTW, the non-dramatized version of the Faith Comes by Hearing reading DOES read the superscript and can be linked in SS but it is not supported for verse by verse syncing. So if you stopped in the middle of a chapter you cannot restart at the verse you stopped at... you have to go back to the beginning.
 
It could work. That's not the issue.
It would mean taking 116 Psalm that have "superscript" and replacing them with 116 MP3 files from (Faith Comes by Hearing) that do read the "superscript". Lots of work...
I will go download the one you list here (Faith Comes by Hearing) and test just one out of curiosity.

I even have that list.​

The remaining 34 chapters lack an introductory title and are historically referred to in Jewish tradition as "orphan psalms".

Well, downloaded Faith Comes by Hearing, replaced chapter 3, and it worked.

Now problem is as you stated, it is not verse by verse sync. It is chapter by chapter. So it would mean replacing 116 chapters to get to read the "superscript" in the Psalms. The voice is ok, but as you stated and I agree, THERE is nothing like Scourby when comes to listen to the Bible. I bought the Cassette Tapes back in the day!
