Pastor Langley submitted a new module:

MAKE YOUR VOICE KNOWN ON HIGH - Fasting and Prayer Isaiah 58

Missionary - Bro. Michael D. Bentley. He has lived this book as a pastor and friend it would be an encouragement to read and have. Pastor - David Langley - Bethany Baptist Church

His words following,
After 58 years of prayer and fasting, and with years of teaching fasting, I decided to write a book on the subject. Many of the 30 to 40 day fasts were recorded and sent to supporters. From my study of fasting in the Bible, I became convinced it was one of God’s means of blessing His servants...

I have a few tweaks to make but wanted to get it out to hear if there were many mistakes. I am liking Sword Searcher very much. Just slow to learn.

You might consider linking references like "(verses 10-13)" so that when one hovers over the reference, the verses appear. It would have to be done manually.

This is the format (when using the "Code" editing mode where you edit user books.

Syntax:
Code:
<a href="swordsearcher://bible+kjv/Bk 1.1">Bk 1:1</a>

The Bk 1.1 (note the period) is the reference using SwordSearcher's abbreviations, then the chapter #, then a period, then the verse #.
The Bk 1:1 (note the colon) is what you want to show to the reader. In this case you would type in "(verses 10-13)" without the quotation marks.

This might be a lot of work, so you may not want to do it.

Thanks for the module!

Yes sir thats great news and observation. Just what I wanted here. So that it can be improved. Thnak you. I just really tried to show the book as much as ppossible as it is in printed form, we just got the shipment in last week, so was ready to upload. Could you tell me if all the fonts are ok. That seems to be a gig one for uploads to Sword Searcher as Brandon explained on the Forum and in the Helps. Not everyone has the correct fonts so beware. Johnny got a copy early on and said all links were good. Could you let me know about the Fonts, please.
I started to use an ole pc in my shop so that I could benchmark and test what I am asking you.
As I get comfortable I plan to do these things! Thank you again! I am taking NOTES...

A few hours doing these changes will be fun and learning for me! There was much more time writing the book. for my Missioanry friend. Amen till Jesus Returns.

THANKS FOR COMMENTING...
You forgot about the "period" problem in your code. I figured it out, just took a minute when I saw the link line go past the parenthesis!
<a href="swordsearcher://bible+kjv/Bk 1.1">Bk 1:1</a> {yours}
Like This: (verse 3).
<a href="swordsearcher://bible+kjv/1 Samuel 1.3">(verse 3)</a>. {addition of period}
To this: (verse 3).

I'm learning... Someone please chime in if a better or another way.
Thinking now as I type it will look better staying with the Format of the book, so your way will follow that.
It is tedious, but it lends opportunity to edit the book for any mistakes and I certainly need the learning experience in Sword Searcher.
Thanks again for any and all comments.

<a href="swordsearcher://bible+kjv/1 Samuel 1.3">(verse 3)</a>
Could it be written like this instead?
<a href="swordsearcher://bible+kjv/1Sa 1.3">(verse 3)</a>

Can I resend upadted module? If you have the time. I really appreciated your observations of the (verses 2-4) example changes. Got all done. Thank you. Found a few dead links so still working on it.

Feel free, Brother, to send it to me. I don't know when I can look at it, but I hope to. :)
