Is there a module for Noah Webster's 1833 Bible? I remember having it as part of Swordsearcher way back when (before my computer died like 10 or more years ago). It may be a third party module. If there is one, can you please provide a link?

I also would love to get it as a module....
KINDLE is available, BUT, module in SS9 would be the bomb !

Thank you. But I am looking for his Bible translation (which I used to have in Swordsearcher 10-15 years ago), not a Webster's Dictionary.

I don't recall it being available for SwordSearcher before. Perhaps it was a user-created Bible module. I don't have it.

Perhaps. I don't do much in the way of comparisons between Bibles (except for research to show what is wrong with modern versions), but that is one version I appreciated because of Webster's definitions. Well, maybe someone reading this will have it or know where I can download it again. If not, at least it was worth a shot.

I was just double checking another Bible program I have on my phone, and it has Webster's Bible in it. I haven't used that program for years, because it is not very user friendly - I have a lot of resources purchased and downloaded through it though so I still keep it on my phone. Maybe this is where I accessed this particular Bible version, though I could have sworn I used it on my computer in the past. Sorry for any confusion if I mixed up where I was originally using it.

On another note, how easy or hard would it be for me to make a module of it? Can anyone verify the copyright status of it?

At the bottom of the txt file it says "copyright wisebeliever.com 2019". The epub has links to chapters. It doesn't look like it would be easily converted to SS at first glance.

Just to let you know, I am creating a Bible Module for SwordSearcher.
It is the Webster Translation (1833) by Noah Webster. I have discovered
that the website at wisebeliever.com contains several errors for Genesis 42
and Genesis 43. Especially Genesis 43 where the verse sequence numbers
are off by 1 verse. The mistakes are very noticeable for chapter 43. The
error(s) for Genesis 42 are at the very end of chapter 42. So far, i am into
the middle of Exodus and haven't seen any more formatting errors, but
won't be surprised if I find some more.

There don't seem to be any more errors in Leviticus other than what's in Levitcus
chapters 5 & 6 on the wisebeliever.com website. So far their online version of
the Webster Version looks good for the book of Numbers.

Here is how easy it seems to go in creating a bible (Webster version) using Forge:

When I copy a couple of verses from Numbers 1 and paste into Notepad I get the following:
1
And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the
congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they
had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2

Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families
by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their poll:

To edit the text for Forge, all I have to do is create the info for each verse as follows:
$$ Nu 1:1
And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the
congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they
had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

$$ Nu 1:2
Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families

by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their poll:

My point is that there isn't much to add in this example except the SwordSearcher Tag in front of each verse. Pretty simple Huh??

Haven't checked the wisebeliever.com website to see if they have any other Bibles online, but if they have any more and they are this easy to do in NotePad, it is
a "SNAP" to
create a Bible Module. All it takes is a little time to copy from the HTML
page and paste into NotePad. I do 2 or 3 chapters at a time, then I compile the
Webster.TXT file from NotePad and compile it with FORGE. Then I go back and
check those chapters in SwordSearcher.

Heh! Did I say this was Fun? Well, I meant to. "Praise the LORD and pass

the Ammunition" as the preacher on the radio use to say.

Here's an interesting side-by-side comparison of the SS KJV Bible with the Webster's 1833 Bible showing all the differences. It's in the form of an HTML file so you can read it by opening it your browser. Download and unzip the contents to your drive. Double-click on the HTM file. The zip file is about 2 mb and the htm file is about 22 mb. The red line was the first difference. The white lines are the same in each Bible. The tan lines have one or more differences show with gray highlight.
