(This is a translation from the Hebrew Masoretic Text into English. It was published in 1917 and is therefore no longer under copyright.)

I would be glad to see a Bible module of this OT text available for SwordSearcher. Best I can tell it's available at the following website address with no copyright restrictions (http://opensiddur.org/2010/08/תנ״ך-the-holy-scriptures-a-new-translation-jps-1917/). I don't know about the versification, but I assume it would have to be tweaked quite a bit to fit the KJV versification. There is a lot of work that would have to be done to make the text usable in SS.

Is there anyone out there who might be willing to make this into a module? I'm doing some studying on a topic that needs a Jewish translation of the OT, and this 1917 public domain Jewish translation of the Tanakh would be helpful to have in SwordSearcher.

Unfortunately, I just don't have time to compile the module. I'd like the .txt file that goes through Forge so that if I find typos I could correct them. The link above has both a PDF and text file for download and there is a specific statement from the JPS that the work "has entered the public domain."
