In my opinion the 1913 retains all of what was good about the 1828, and adds more detail and definitions. I use the 1913 as my go-to English dictionary during Bible study/research.

I like the 1828 dictionary because I think the old definitions are really interesting and I like to see how the language has changed.

This might be useful or interesting if you don't have it. This is my default dictionary. I contains every KJV word with Webster 1913 definitions with some added features. Plus it's editable so you can add stuff.
